Dosimetry firm PTW debuts new 3D phantom

Dosimetry firm PTW has launched its new Beamscan 3D water scanning phantom for medical physicists in North America.

Beamscan features a square-tank design, a new high-precision electrometer, wireless data transfer, fully automated adjustments, and advanced algorithms for more precise measurements. The phantom can also take measurements in less than 30 minutes, according to the company.
