Pearl Technology has introduced CT HeadFix, a positioning device that holds the head in place during a CT exam.
The device has air and polystyrene pearl chambers that allow for even, symmetrical pressure distribution. It is made out of biocompatible polyurethane foil, which can be cleaned easily, according to the company.
Pearl Technology's CT HeadFix is a class I medical device, has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and is available for sale in the U.S. as well as various countries in Europe and Asia.
