The American College of Radiology (ACR) issued a call September 13 for its CT accreditation program, which needs clinical reviewers, particularly those with experience in cardiac CT.
Key criteria for reviewers include board certification, active ACR membership, expertise in reading CT exams, completion of ACR CT reviewer training, and participation in electronic review. Those selected will be responsible for scoring CT exams submitted for review, and they may also be involved in onsite surveys of accredited facilities, though not more frequently than every two years.
Reviewers are free to determine the extent of their service and will be appropriately compensated, according to the ACR. Interested parties can find full application details on the ACR's website.
