Medlink Imaging of Elmsford, NY, is launching a new digital radiography system that uses slot-scanning technology to produce images with low radiation dose. The system will be introduced at the upcoming RSNA show.
DRS Universal uses dual x-ray beams to produce a two-dimensional image. The unit is manufactured by Adani, headquartered in Minsk, Belarus, and more than 300 of the systems have been installed worldwide, Medlink said. The system carries a list price of under $200,000 installed.
Medlink will also show a DR product that uses a flat-panel digital plate manufactured by Trixell of Moirans, France, and software from InfiMed of Liverpool, NY.
