Agfa HealthCare has debuted CR Radiotherapy Solution, a digital simulation and portable imaging system that can acquire computed radiography images in a radiotherapy environment.
Designed for use in low- and high-dose applications, the system can handle both low- and high-energy x-rays, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based vendor. CR Radiotherapy Solution is available with the vendor's CR 25.0 system, and can serve multiple rooms simultaneously, Agfa said.
The company said CR Radiotherapy Solution can complement, and even replace, the use of an electronic portal imaging device (EPID) system. It also provides for image transfer over a DICOM network, Agfa said.
