GE hits 5K mark on Lunar sales

Multimodality vendor GE Healthcare reported its 5,000th installation of the Lunar Prodigy bone densitometer. The system was installed at the office of Dr. William Sunshine, a rheumatologist in Boca Raton, FL.

According to Waukesha, WI-based GE, global sales revenues for its Lunar product line have grown 40% since 2001.
