U.K. software developer Meridian Technique has released version 3.0 of its OrthoView orthopedic digital planning software.
The product provides surgeons with access to a library of digital product templates and anatomical planning guides, and features a pediatric assessment module (PAM). The PAM feature incorporates various tools to position and record recognized angles, lines, and measurements, including Hilgenreiner's line, Perkins' line, acetabular angle, iliac angle, center edge angle, Reimer's migration index, trans-teardrop line, and Sharp's angle, according to the Southampton-based vendor.
OrthoView 3.0 also offers a number of new tools for assessing, measuring, and reporting a number of lines, circles, and angles, including valgus and varus angles, shaft fracture angle, femoral neck angle, and Cobb angle, Meridian said.
