Kodak debuts dental imaging products for India market

Eastman Kodak Health Group, following the acquisition of dental practice management software developer PracticeWorks, and of its French subsidiary digital radiographic imaging systems developer Trophy Radiologie, will be offering a full spectrum of digital dental imaging systems in India, the Rochester, NY-based vendor said.

There are about 60,000 registered dentists in India, and nearly 5,000 more are added annually, the company said. According to the Indian Dental Association, India has 151 dental faculties and schools, the highest number in any country, after Brazil. The country also has more than 6,000 dental labs, Kodak said.
