X-ray production technology developer KDF has sold two of its KDF 744NT batch sputtering systems to GE Healthcare.
The systems, which are currently in production, will be used by GE for research into digital mammography and digital radiography, according to Rockleigh, NJ-based KDF. The 744NT is a large-area, four-target batch sputtering system, designed for processing high-density semiconductor wafers, flat-panel displays, and other applications, KDF said.
