Modular-building firm HCG Building Technologies has opened its first modular cardiac catheterization facility approved by California's Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development-approved (OSHPD) for the Infinix vascular and cardiac imaging system by Tustin, CA-based Toshiba America Medical Systems.
The OSHPD inspection took place at the firm's manufacturing facility in Ceres, CA, HCG said. Upon inspection and approval, HCG delivered the completed modular directly to Hanford Community Medical Center in Hanford, CA, where it was installed on the prepoured site pad.
The 2,520-square-foot addition houses a procedure room and eight recovery bays containing patient monitoring and medical gases to perform in-patient procedures. It is directly adjoined to the existing in-patient hospital, HCG said.
