Canadian digital radiography vendor Imaging Dynamics has released OrthoXP, a DR system targeted at orthopedic practices.
OrthoXP features a micro focal spot and can handle the full spectrum of radiographic procedures important to orthopedic medicine, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based vendor. Template software for joint-replacement surgical planning is available as an option.
The system has a price point 20% lower than any other IDC system, and can be retrofitted to existing x-ray equipment, IDC said. It requires 80 square feet of floor space and can be placed at a ceiling height less than 8 feet.
