Toshiba America Medical Systems has introduced Contrast Improved Angiography (CIA), a blood imaging technique designed to provide greater detail for MR angiography studies without a contrast injection.
Toshiba's Fresh Blood Imaging (FBI) technique serves as the technology platform for CIA, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. CIA incorporates flow-adjusted technology to offer improved visualization of smaller vessels with greater contrast and better separation of arterial and venous blood flow, Toshiba said.
CIA is available on Toshiba's Excelart Vantage MR scanner.
