Eastman Kodak Health Group reported that it has signed contracts for purchases of its DirectView CR products with a group of U.S. facilities in recent months.
The Rochester, NY-based firm said that the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia ordered four of its DirectView CR 950 Systems and one DirectView CR 500 System. The hospital also purchased the firm's DirectView Total Quality Tool system, which employs a phantom and software to provide image tests and quality control (QC) measurements.
White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY, purchased one CR 950, three CR 850s, and one DryView 8900 Laser Imaging system. HealthEast Care System in St. Paul, MN, ordered three CR 950s, three CR 850s, four Total Quality Tool systems, and licenses for DirectView CR Long-Length software for digital capture of full-leg and full-spine images. The equipment will be installed at four hospitals located in St. Paul, Maplewood, and Woodbury, MN.
Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore purchased one CR 950 and one CR 850 system. Lakeland Health in Niles, MI, purchased one CR 950 system, one CR 850, and one CR 500 system, while Lakeland Health Park in St. Joseph, MI, purchased one CR 500 system. Portage Health in Hancock, MI, purchased two CR 850s, one CR 500, and the CR Long-Length application, Kodak said.
The Radiology Regional Center in Fort Myers, FL, purchased two CR 950 systems, and Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC, purchased one CR 950, one CR 850, and one CR 500 system. Advanced Imaging in McMurray, PA, purchased five CR 500 systems with five 8150 Laser Imagers for use at its imaging centers in western Pennsylvania, and Cherry Tree Medical Associates in Uniontown, PA, purchased a CR 500 system, as well as an 8900 Laser Imaging system.
