Multimodality vendor Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, has launched the newest member of its Allura Xper angiography line: Allura Xper FD20/10, a neurovascular angiography system.
The new product is based on Philips' digital flat-panel detectors, and also includes integrated interventional tools such as XperCT, 3D Roadmapping, and 3D-RA. XperCT enables clinicians to conduct high-speed CT-like imaging on Allura Xper systems, allowing them to perform advanced soft-tissue imaging without transporting patients.
The 3D Roadmapping technique provides a 3D view of target vessels superimposed on live 2D images like fluoroscopy datasets, enabling clinicians to view catheter navigation in 3D. The company's 3D-RA technique enables 3D rotational angiography.
