Quantum Medical Imaging has rolled out TechVision, a 16-bit multicolor touchscreen monitor built into an x-ray tube handgrip.
The product, available in film-screen and digital x-ray versions, allows technologists to set and view all exam aspects, such as kVp, mAs, and so on, without leaving the patient's side, according to the Ronkonkoma, NY-based firm.
TechVision DR, for select Quantum Q-Rad digital radiography systems, provides all exam setup procedures as well as a digital image preview and study review feature, the company said.
