X-ray technology developer InfiMed and Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, have inked a worldwide marketing agreement.
Under the deal, Liverpool, NY-based InfiMed will begin selling Carestream's new DRX-1 portable wireless detector as part of its i5DR image acquisition system. InfiMed sales representatives will market the system to both dealer and OEM customers.
Commercial sales of the combined product are pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance, which InfiMed expects to receive in the fourth quarter.
