Rayence is unveiling the Xmaru 1717SGC fixed detector at the 2012 RSNA conference in Chicago.
The 17 x 17-inch gadolinium digital flat-panel detector fits existing cassette trays without retrofitting, according to the company. It also uses a trigger technology that eliminates the need to integrate into an x-ray generator.
Works-in-progress 14 x 17-inch and 10 x 12-inch wireless detectors also will be displayed, along with the 10 x 12-inch Xmaru 1210SGA gadolinium detector, which will be paired with a custom-designed retrofit orthoposer base.
