Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has signed a one-year renewable agreement with NZ Technologies to sell NZ's Tipso AirPad navigation tablet for interventional radiology (IR) procedures in the U.S.
The Tipso AirPad is a portable and wireless device that enables real-time image navigation by hand during interventional procedures. The device is operable inside a sterile bag and allows clinicians to interact with medical images acquired using different modalities without the need to scrub out and back into the IR suite.
