At the RSNA 2020 conference, Fujifilm Medical Systems USA plans to launch two new systems in the surgical and fluoroscopy markets: the Persona C surgical C-arm and the Persona RF Premium radiography and fluoroscopy (R/F) system.
The Persona C surgical C-arm will be available with 21 x 21-cm or 30 x 30-cm amorphous silicon flat-panel digital detector options for ultralow-dose fluoroscopy and vascular imaging. It also features 81 cm of free space, a removable grid, and radiography mode for high-quality still imaging, Fujifilm said.
The Persona RF Premium system is a new multiuse R/F system that produces real-time imaging. It incorporates a 17 x 17-inch digital radiography detector and can be configured with an optional overhead tube crane and upright radiography bucky, the firm said.
Fujifilm is already accepting orders for the Persona C system in the U.S., while the Persona RF Premium system will be made available once regulatory requirements are completed. The two systems mark Fujifilm's entry into the C-arm and fluoroscopy markets.
