Carestream Health has formed a collaboration with Robarts Research Institute in Canada in an effort to assess the clinical value of its digital x-ray, digital tomosynthesis, and dual-energy technologies in patients with cardiothoracic and pulmonary diseases.
As part of the collaboration, Carestream has installed its DRX-Evolution-Plus digital radiography system with dual-energy acquisition and digital tomosynthesis image acquisition software, according to the vendor. Carestream said that this equipment will be used to support multidisciplinary translational research.
