Coronary stent manufacturer Percardia of Boston has made two additions to its management line-up: Christopher Joyce will serve as chief financial officer while Michael Reinhardt is the new vice president of marketing.
Reinhardt was most recently the director of marketing for the intravascular ultrasound and rotational atherectomy franchises of SciMed, a division of Boston Scientific. Reinhard also help positions at Ethicon and Ethicon Endo-Surgery.
Joyce comes to Percardia from Xtra, a lessor of freight transportation equipment, where he spent seven years as vice president and treasurer. Percardia’s main product is the VCAB system, which creates a channel from the ventricle to the coronary artery with the aid of a stent through the heart wall.
