Boston Scientific adds CE Mark

Interventional device manufacturer Boston Scientific has received the European CE Mark for three large vessel sizes of its Taxus Express2 paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system.

The Natick, MA-based firm said it plans to launch the new sizes (4.0 mm, 4.5 mm, and 5.0 mm) immediately, and will continue to supply all sizes of its Taxus stent systems.
