Interventional device developer Radi Medical has debuted an online education site for demonstrating the proper use of fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurement techniques, an index derived from coronary artery pressure measurements.
The interactive cases, which are designed for interventional radiologists, cardiologists, technicians, nurses, and catheterization lab staff, are available at TeachFFR.com, the company said.
The cases illustrate FFR use in specific areas, including multivessel disease and tandem lesions, side branch narrowing, preop evaluation for noncardiac surgery, multivessel disease, postbypass, poststenting, and various other scenarios, according to Uppsala, Sweden-based Radi.
