Image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis of St. Louis posted a surge in revenues coupled with a slight decrease in net losses for its 2006 fiscal third quarter (end-September 30).
For the period, the firm posted revenue of $7.6 million, a sharp uptick from the $1.7 million in revenue reported for the same period last year. Stereotaxis rolled up $11.4 million in losses for the quarter, compared with losses of $11.9 million for the fiscal 2005 third quarter.
The company said it continues to expect total revenues for the 2006 fiscal year (end-December 31) to be in the range of $26 million to $30 million.
