FlowCardia launches Crosser stent portfolio in Europe

Endovascular device developer FlowCardia said that it is making its Crosser 14P, 14S, and 18 chronic total occlusion (CTO) recanalization catheters available in the European Union (EU).

The devices are delivered using standard guidewires to the site of the CTO in the legs, then utilize high-frequency vibration to facilitate guidewire crossing of the occlusion. This allows for subsequent plaque debulking, balloon angioplasty, or stent placement, according to the Sunnyvale, CA-based company.
