Interventional device developer CardioVasc of Menlo Park, CA, has completed its acquisition of interventional neuroradiology device manufacturer Acta Vascular of Santa Clara, CA.
The combined firms will be known as Nfocus Neuromedical and will focus on treatments for neurovascular diseases and hemorrhagic stroke.
The new company also reported that it has raised $20.3 million in series B private equity financing. Nfocus said that it will apply the funds to bring its current aneurysm and fistula treatment devices to market in Europe and the U.S.
