3M debuts IV dressing for BD Nexiva

3M Health Care has introduced its Tegaderm IV dressing for use with interventional technology provider BD's Nexiva catheter system.

The dressing is designed to address catheter movement, dislodgments, and fall-outs, according to 3M of St. Paul, MN. It features a J-shaped slit that fits around the built-in extension tubing, helping to secure both the tubing and the catheter, 3M said.
