r4 Vascular gets FDA OK for catheter

r4 Vascular of Maple Grove, MN, has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its power-injectable Pherocious apheresis catheter.

The apheresis catheter is indicated for apheresis, intravenous infusions, and blood sampling, as well as power injection of contrast media for contrast-enhanced CT.

It will be available in both 12.5-French and 10.5-French sizes.
