Contrast injector technology firm Medrad of Warrendale, PA, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with WFR-Aquaplast/Qfix Systems for the company's Pro-Tekt endorectal balloon device.
The Pro-Tekt device is designed to immobilize structures that surround the rectum, such as the prostate, for radiation therapy treatment.
The device currently is available to healthcare providers throughout the U.S., Australia, and Europe.
