Positron's first shipment of a Posicam PET scanner since the company's revival has led to a 200% revenue increase for the manufacturer. The Houston-based firm had revenues of $1.2 million for the period (end-March 31), compared with revenues of $388,000 in the same period last year. Positron posted a loss of $157,000, however, compared with net income of $34,000 in 1999. The loss was due to increased staff and related operational expenditures, according to the firm.
