The Nishidai Clinic in Tokyo, which will be the largest freestanding PET and imaging facility in Asia when it opens in September, has ordered five mPower PET scanners from Positron, the Houston-based company announced today.
The order highlights the growing interest in state-of-the-art PET technology in Japan, according to Gary Brooks, president of Positron. Three of the clinic's PET systems are slated for delivery in July and two in December.
