American Pharmaceutical Partners is in the process of a recall of its Adenoscan cardiac stress agent. The Melrose Park, IL, firm pursued the recall because of chipped and leaking vials and the possible presence of glass particles in the contrast solution, according to Food and Drug Administration documents. At the time the recall began in mid-January, 100,000 vials of a total distribution of 275,151 remained on the market.
