Siemens Medical Systems has signed a three-year, multimodality agreement with Premier to provide the group purchasing organization with a broad range of medical equipment. The agreement gives Premier owners and affiliates access to Siemens equipment at significant discounts, according to Iselin, NJ-based Siemens.
Participating Premier members may purchase a range of imaging equipment including: cardiac catheterization, MR, CT, ultrasound, radiography/fluoroscopy, mammography, general radiography, nuclear medicine, and PET equipment, according to Siemens. They’ll also have access to surgery, lithotripsy, and clinical networking (PACS) products.
In addition, the agreement will provide Premier members with service support and the expertise necessary to maintain these systems, according to the vendor.
