Syncor signs new deal with Broadlane

Radiopharmaceutical provider Syncor International has signed a new, three-year agreement with healthcare supply firm Broadlane. The deal consists of a sole-source agreement for the distribution of radiopharmaceuticals, including FDG, where and when available, according to Woodland Hills, CA-based Syncor.

The contract, effective immediately, runs through the end of 2004, with a two-year renewal option. Separate from the sole-source agreement, Broadlane will also make Syncor's PharmaSeed I-125 brachytherapy seeds available to its members, which include 572 acute care hospitals and 2335 subacute healthcare facilities.
