GE Healthcare has shipped its first Discovery VCT system to Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. It is the company's first 64-slice PET/CT system to be installed globally, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm.
The Discovery VCT can assess blood supply and cardiac viability, the company said.
