PACS and advanced visualization software firm Thinking Systems demonstrated advances to its MDStation fusion software at the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) meeting, in particular adding enhancements for neurological and cardiac applications.
The St. Petersburg, FL, vendor has added full integration with the Emory Cardiac Toolbox application for cardiac SPECT studies, and support for the NeuroQ application for PET brain studies.
In addition, Thinking Systems has recently added support for 3D integration with applications from Vital Images of Minnetonka, MN, as well as support for cardiac CTA and cardiac PET.
The firm also displayed MDStation running on a single 30-inch monitor rather than dual 21-inch monitors used in the past. The new display provides a larger viewing area, which enables nuclear medicine physicians to get all the image views they want on a single monitor, according to the company.
