Syntermed highlights software

Imaging software developer Syntermed of Atlanta highlighted its family of software products for advanced visualization and image analysis at the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) show in San Diego.

The company has enhanced its Emory Cardiac Toolbox product with HeartFusion, an application for superimposing CT angiography studies on PET images. The company also demonstrated NeuroQ, software licensed from the UCLA that compares PET brain studies to a database of normal exams. NeuroQ began shipping in 2005.

Syntermed also showed NRP, a reporting package for nuclear cardiology studies. The application takes data produced by Emory Cardiac Toolbox and generates a report.
