Gamma camera probe developer Neoprobe reported that sales slipped slightly in the first quarter of 2007 (end-March 31), while the company's net loss grew slightly.
For the period, the Dublin, OH, firm posted sales of $1.74 million, down 3% compared with $1.79 million in the first quarter of 2006. The company's net loss for the first quarter stood at $1.1 million, compared to a net loss of $928,000 in the same period of 2006.
The company said that rising sales of its Bluetooth-enabled wireless probes offset declines in its base gamma camera business. The overall rise in sales in that business segment, however, was offset by declines in the company's blood-flow device unit.
