Nuclear medicine vendor CardiArc has established a research and testing program for its SPECT imaging system.
Under the program, the Lubbock, TX-based firm will be loaning its devices to healthcare research institutions, with the goal of independent testing, evaluations in clinical settings, and publication of results. The Cleveland Clinic will receive the first commercially manufactured unit, which is expected to be installed in July.
