The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) will take public comment on February 21 at 1:00 p.m. EST on proposed revisions to quality assurance standards for the production and compounding of PET drugs.
The scientific, nonprofit organization based in Rockville, MD, also will discuss how these changes will affect professional practice, and how to provide comments for the final revisions. USP will take feedback on the proposed changes until March 31. The February 21 event will be available as a Webcast; more details are available by clicking here.
When announcing the proposed changes in January, USP said that changes in the use and supply of PET drugs have changed since the original standards were published in 1998.
