Medical isotope developer IsoRay Medical posted a drop in sales but also a lower net loss in the second quarter of its 2011 fiscal year (end-December 31).
Sales decreased 7% to $1.2 million, compared with $1.3 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2010.
The company's net loss decreased 76% to $228,000 in the second quarter, compared with a net loss of $950,000 in the same quarter a year ago.
For the six-month period, revenues decreased 4% to $2.6 million, compared with $2.7 million in the first half of fiscal 2010. The company's net loss decreased by 38% to $1.1 million, compared with a net loss of $1.8 million in the same period of fiscal 2010.
