Breast-specific gamma imaging developer Dilon Diagnostics plans to launch a new molecular breast imaging system with a larger detector at next week's SNM meeting in San Antonio.
The company's Dilon 6800 Acella gamma camera features a much larger detector than is available on the standard configuration of Dilon 6800, giving Dilon customers a choice of detector sizes. The new model has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to the company.
