The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) has joined the ABIM Foundation and nine medical specialty societies in Choosing Wisely, a campaign aimed at developing evidence-based lists to help guide appropriate use of healthcare resources.
The ASNC said it's looking forward to working with its campaign partners to identify common tests and procedures that should be carefully considered when determining patient care.
The American College of Radiology announced its participation in the campaign earlier this week.
