GE Healthcare introduced its Discovery IQ PET/CT system at this week's Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) annual meeting.
The system has a sensitivity of up to 22 cps/kBq, an axial field-of-view of up to 26 cm, and quantitative standardized uptake values. It includes GE's Q.Clear PET reconstruction technology, a fully scalable system, availability for the mobile market, whole organ imaging using LightBurst detector technology, and a dual acquisition channel.
Discovery IQ PET/CT is pending 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
