Nuclear medicine firm UltraSPECT has installed its 450th software package in the U.S.
The milestone was reached at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH, which acquired the company's Xpress3.Cardiac software.
UltraSPECT's installation was part of the HeartSafe Imaging initiative, introduced by Ohio-based radiopharmaceutical provider HeartLight Pharmacy Services to help nuclear medicine facilities reduce SPECT radiation exposure and minimize scan time for patient comfort. HeartLight Pharmacy Services offers UltraSPECT software to nuclear medicine imaging facilities as part of its supply agreement.
