Molecular imaging developer MILabs will unveil its new PET/SPECT/CT system with optical imaging on June 10 at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) annual meeting in Denver.
Named the 5-series, the preclinical system combines ultrahigh-resolution 4D CT at low radiation doses with 0.15-mm SPECT and 0.6-mm PET. All of this is offered in combination with optical imaging, bioluminescence, fluorescence, and Cherenkov images.
The 5-series will be available as standalone single-modality units or as a multimodal system. All of the imaging modalities can be run on small animals with a single dose of anesthesia, MILabs said.
