NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes and Purdue University's College of Pharmacy are collaborating on a new nuclear pharmacy training program.
NorthStar will provide its RadioGenix isotope separation system to the college to train nuclear pharmacy students on the production of technetium-99m (Tc-99m), the most widely used radioisotope for diagnostic imaging tests in the U.S.
In return, the trainees will provide feedback to NorthStar about its RadioGenix system and on early testing of planned enhancements to the device.
