Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) reported reduced revenues for the first half of 2020, which it attributed to challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company posted revenue of 109.7 million euros ($129.7 million) for the period, down 14.3% compared with 128 million euros ($151 million) for the same period in 2019.
With respect to recurring earnings before interest and taxes (REBIT), the company posted a net loss for the first half of 9.9 million euros ($11.7 million), compared with a net loss of 4.4 million euros ($5.2 million) in the same period the year before.
