Proton therapy developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has launched a new low-energy compact cyclotron called Cyclone Key.
The cyclotron, which was showcased on January 24 at Arab Health 2022 in Dubai, allows hospitals to produce radiopharmaceuticals in-house and offers better access to diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Furthermore, Cyclone Key supports proton acceleration up to 9.2 megaelectron volts.
