Shine Technologies recently named Tom D'Orazio as the CEO of its industrial imaging arm, Phoenix. Both companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of Illuminated Holdings.
D'Orazio succeeds Jess Giffey, who served as interim CEO and will continue in her role as general manager of Shine's systems and manufacturing division.
D'Orazio has over two decades of experience in sales leadership roles for start-ups, emerging, and established companies across healthcare, as well as biotech and software industries. He most recently was the chief operating officer for Tryp Therapeutics, where he was also a founding member. Before that, he was CEO and president at ImmnoPrecise Antibodies.
D'Orazio holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Loyola University of Chicago and an MBA from Vanderbilt University with concentrations in marketing and finance.
